This was very useful in the old app because the client new exactly what muscle groups they were working and got sent their "workout of the day" each day because it was on their calendar. This allowed the client to follow a detailed program for 6 weeks and than every 6 weeks change the program according to the 6 week assessments and what their goals are. This also helps the trainer keep organized of what muscle groups each client is training for that session. Clients kept with me long term because of the organization of their calendar and progressions I took for it.
The intention with not being able to schedule out an exact workout when was to give the client flexibility and a positive mindset on being able to complete them per their schedule. If you send a plan with 10 workouts, workout 1 will appear on the home screen, every time a client completes one the next one moves in to “to do” and the others move up a position in the queue. They can also go into the workouts tab and select a different one they want (that you’ve sent). Whatever order you program them in is the order they’ll be presented in the AF App.
